3 Powerful Reminders to Inspire Growth and Transformation

Hidden within us lies a powerful and resilient soul; one that is stronger through simplicity and empowered from adversity. We can lose sight of that inherent fortitude because we live life largely from our mindspace because we largely overthink things. At one point or another, we all struggle with anxiety. The mental burdens we carry are often sculpted around tough times, change, and the difficulty of making transformations. We have all we need to surpass our challenges and grow much stronger through them when we draw ourselves back and conquer the negative thinking we let seep in far too often.

“The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire.”- Ferdinand Foch

Our mind is riddled with self doubt, suspicion, and a lack of clarity as our brain seeks to protect us from the chaos of change- and yet our heart and soul intuitively understand the deeper purpose and meaning of our life’s journey. We all have our inner fire that can inspire us toward renewal, reinvention and evolutionary gain. Here are 3 reminders to help you move forward.

1. We are born worthy

Our self value is knocked and bruised when we allow external circumstance to filter through and hinder our perspective. We must remember that we are born worthy. When we seek to find our own value in the eyes or arms of others we inevitably set ourselves up for potential disappointment. When our sense of self worth has been damaged, only we can repair and replenish it. Realizing our self value is an arduous pilgrimage that guides us through the dark so that we can find our own light. The greatest transformation is the transformation of self and how we see ourselves. We cannot change anything outside of us without first embracing deep changes from within. Our path illuminates as we accept accountability for it.

“You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul”- Swami Vivekananda

2. Life is not meant to break us

Defeat can often creep into our mindset when all seems against us. But we are never meant to remain wounded, broken, or lost through life’s difficulty. It is the biggest challenges that enable us to rise up by working harder to overcome them. We are always meant to get back up. Don’t settle for something less than what you inherently know you deserve just because the path to its doorway is rife with obstacles. There is always a way around it or through it when we utilize our powers of intuition and perception. When we smash the mental limits that we create then we can see the possibility of what could be and fuse together with greater courage toward it.

“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved”- Helen Keller

3. Don’t do anything by halves

When we doubt ourselves, we begin to shrink into life rather than expand through it. When we think small, we do small- and yet we are elementally founded on limitlessness, passion, and fullness. We should not half measure anything. When we commit ourselves to living fully then this is what we in turn receive- something greater that was worth the wait, the struggle, and the inner confusion. So if we are going to fail- fail big. If we are going to love- we do so with a full heart. If we are going to dream- we dream with full colour and sound turned up. Remember your inner flame that burns brightly from within- feed that flame with full experiences rather than half hearted measures. Do not die an unlived life.

“Do not accept half a solution. Do not believe half truths; do not dream half a dream; Do not fantasize about half hopes. Half a drink will not quench your thirst; half a meal will not satiate your hunger; half the way will get you nowhere. Half an idea will bear you no results”- Khalil Gibran

We are our most virtuous asset. When we feel a little lost in life it is a signal toward cultivating a new life or a new way of being. Sometimes the ground shakes beneath us so we can move to higher ground. Nothing is fixed. The power to change and transform is rooted within us- we only need to recognize that power and use it.
