Michael Powell

Contributor for Goals.com

My writing career started right out of high school when I wrote for the Pacific Publishing Company's publication, the Madison Park Times. I moved to San Francisco in 2008 and wrote for the San Francisco Examiner, under the guise of Sara Gaiser, the then editor of the Business section. I wrote several very timely pieces for that time, including a profile of LaunchSquad, a firm that helped propel the "Obama girl." I finished my Bachelor's Degree at California State University - East Bay in 2011 and took a small break to intern in Washington D.C. for the Heritage Foundation. After that experience, I had a long term technical writing engagement with my friend Norma Saiph Savage, PhD. I have a versatile experience and have a great deal of knowledge to convey.

Their perceptions of you should not limit who you think you are, where you want to go or what you want to do. Here are four easy steps to reinforcing who you want to be and breaking past limitations.
    Know Yourself

This is not only frustrating to our sense of logic and order but also frustrating when we are trying to work or manage something, as difficult people often carry a weight of baggage that may have nothing to do with the tasks we're trying to complete but that we are nevertheless faced with when dealing with them. How do we deal with difficult people? We gain a little bit of empathy, and comm...

It is naturally seen in fruits. As many of us learned when we were children, high levels of sugar can be detrimental. However, it can be alot worse than just causing hyperactivity. Like anything that is taken to an extreme, high levels of sugar intake can lead to an imbalance in the body, illustrating itself most clearly in the form of diabetes, an immune deficiency illness that results when the body's blood sugar rises beyond what the body can process...

Unlike dishwashing, bussing or a practical job along those lines, you are not being paid by the hour. You're not doing nights or a day shift - you produce an effort and then recieve a stipend for your effort that can vary dramatically based on who you are writing for and what they required of you. For one article, throughout my career, my range of pay has literally varied from nothing to $250 per item. In...
